Hollandaise Sauce
Hollandaise Sauce is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 6 minutes. Made with butter, egg yolks, . lemon juice, . salt and of cayenne or tabasco sauce or white pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In a small saucepan heat to bubbling (but do not brown) the butter.
Into blender container put: egg yolks, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Cover container and turn to low speed.
Immediately remove cover and put in the hot butter in a steady stream.
When all butter is blended, turn off motor.
Makes 3/4 cup.
