French Onion Soup
French Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 large onions, sliced, 1/4 c. butter, 1 tbsp. flour, 2 c. water and 6 slices toasted french bread, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cook onions in butter over medium heat, stirring occasionally until onions are tender and just begin to brown.
Sprinkle with flour.
Gradually stir in 1 can broth.
Heat to boiling.
Stir in remaining broth, water and Worcestershire sauce.
Bring to boil; simmer 5 minutes.
Place 1 slice toast in oven-proof bowl.
