French Onion Soup
French Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 large onions, thinly sliced, 1/4 c. butter, 1 tbsp. flour, 6 c. beef stock, broth or bouillon and 1/2 tsp. tabasco sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cook onions in butter until transparent.
Add flour; mix well. Place onions in slow cooker.
Add beef stock and Tabasco.
Cover; cook on low 8 to 10 hours, or on high heat for 4 to 5 hours. Ladle soup into 6 ovenproof bowls.
Top each with slice of bread (or croutons); sprinkle with cheese.
Place in a 350Β° oven until cheese is bubbly.
