Fisherman's Stew
Fisherman'S Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. flounder, haddock or sole fillets, 3/4 c. celery, chopped medium, 1/4 c. sliced onion, 1/8 tsp. garlic powder and 1/4 stick margarine or butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Rinse fish and set aside.
In a heavy pan, melt butter and cook celery, onion and garlic until tender.
Add sauce and rest of seasonings.
Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
Add water and uncooked spaghetti.
Mix, cover and cook until spaghetti is firm and tender (al dente).
Add fish.
Cover and simmer until fish flakes.
Serve with grated Parmesan cheese.
