Erins Spaghetti Sauce
Erins Spaghetti Sauce is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 to 2 lb. ground beef, brown lightly, drained, 1 or 2 medium onions, 1 green pepper, 2 to 4 cloves garlic and salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook, drain and rinse beef in colander under hot water. Return to pan.
Chop onions, green pepper and garlic and cook until onions soften.
(May need to add small amount of water so meat and veggies won't stick.)
Salt, pepper, thyme, oregano, basil (if needed), sugar (if tomatoes are very acid) and parsley to taste.
Add tomatoes, stir and simmer partially covered 2 hours to all day.
Add tomato paste; just enough so you don't have red water running all over the plate.
Freezes great.
It gets better every time you warm it up.
