πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ Instructions

Preheat oven to 375Β° and place rack in middle of oven.

Have ungreased cookie sheet ready.

Insert metal blade, process egg, both sugars, shortening, butter and vanilla for 30 seconds.

Put flour, baking soda and salt in a cup and pour over sugar mixture. Put pecans over flour and then add chocolate morsels over that. Pulse twice, until the ingredients are combined.

Do not overprocess, there will be a light dusting of flour on the surface of the dough.

This will blend in easily after dough is shaped. Use rounded tablespoonful of dough to shape a 1 1/2-inch round. Arrange on cookie sheet and bake about 10 minutes, until lightly browned.

Cool on rack.

Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
