Creamed Peas And Potatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 medium red potatoes, cubed pretty small (do not peel), 1 pkg. frozen peas (10 ounces), 1 tsp sugar, 2 tablespoons margarine and 2 tablespoons flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Place potatoes in a sauce pan, cover with water and cook until tender.
Cook peas separately until done, add the sugar (do not over cook).
Meanwhile in sauce pan melt margarine, add salt, pepper, flour to form a paste.
Then slowly add milk.
Bring to a boil and boil 1 minute.
Cook until thick and bubbly.
Drain potatoes and peas.
Put together and pour sauce over all.
