Cream of Mushroom Soup
Cream Of Mushroom Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1/4 lb. mushrooms, coarsely chopped, 1 small onion, chopped, 2 c. milk and 1 chicken bouillon cube, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add onions and mushrooms, saute until onion is done and pan juices done.
Stir in flour and cook until bubbly; remove from heat.
Gradually stir in the milk.
Add bouillon cube (crumble) and thyme.
Cook, stirring constantly, until thick.
Blend in blender or food processor until smooth.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
