Cranberry Tea Bread
Cranberry Tea Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. (3/8 lb.) butter or margarine, 1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 4 eggs, 3 c. all-purpose flour (unsifted) and 2 tsp. each: baking powder and soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until creamy; beat in the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir together the flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and cloves; add to creamed mixture and stir until well blended.
Mix in cranberry sauce, nuts and raisins.
Spoon batter into 2 greased and flour-dusted 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 1 hour or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool bread in pans 10 minutes, then turn out on a wire rack to cool completely.
Makes 2 loaves.
