Cranberry-Pear Chutney
Cranberry-Pear Chutney is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (12 oz.) bag fresh cranberries, 2 pears, peeled, cored and diced, 1 small onion, finely chopped, 3/4 c. sugar and 2 tsp. freshly grated lemon zest, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large saucepan over medium heat, bring cranberries, pears, onion, sugar, vinegar, lemon zest, ginger, allspice, salt and pepper to a boil, stirring.
Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, 20 to 25 minutes or until cranberries burst.
Let cool.
