Ciopinno
Ciopinno is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. fresh or frozen haddock (or other white fish), 1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen shelled shrimp, 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can minced clams, 1/2 large green pepper, cut into 1/2 inch squares and 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In 3-quart saucepan cook green pepper, onion and garlic in oil until tender.
Add undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, wine, parsley, oregano, basil, salt pepper. to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer
20 minutes.
Fish into 1 inch pieces, add fish, shrimp to tomato mixture and cook about 10 minutes.
Add undrained clams and cook about 5 minutes.
