Chop Suey
An old-school American chop suey with ground beef, celery, onions, and tomato simmered with elbow macaroni. New England diner comfort that stretches a pound of meat into supper.

Brown meat in 2 tablespoons oil.
Simmer until soft.
Cut up celery and onions.
Add to meat and cook until meat is soft.
Add 1/2 cup soy sauce and cook for 10 minutes.
Add bean sprouts with juices (2 tablespoons of flour and water to thicken).
Serve with rice.
