Chocolate Mousse
Chocolate Mousse is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 16 minutes. Melt butter and chocolate chips in top of double boiler (or on low power in microwave).
Beat in egg yolks, one at a time.
Cool slightly.
Stir in brandy (or Kahlua or any flavored liquer). Beat egg whites into stiff peaks.
Fold whites into the chocolate mixture, gently blending.
Spoon into 8 separate dishes or 1 large dish.
Refrigerate.
Before serving, garnish with whipped cream and shaved chocolate curls.
