Chicken-Liver Loaf
Chicken-Liver Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. green onions, thinly sliced, 2 eggs, 1/3 c. yogurt or light sour cream, 1/2 c. butter or margarine and 1 clove garlic, crushed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In skillet, saute onions and garlic in butter until lightly browned.
Add livers and cook 3 to 5 minutes or until juices no longer flow.
In food processor, purée liver mixture until smooth. In a large bowl, beat remaining ingredients.
Stir in liver purée (mixture will be thin).
Turn into greased 7 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan.
Cover with foil.
Bake for 1 hour at 300°.
Cool, then chill thoroughly in pan.
To serve, run knife around edge and unmold. Slice 1/2 inch thick.
Makes 14 slices (108 calories per slice).
