Chicken Italiano
Chicken Italiano is an impressive dinner. Made with 6 to 8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 1 c. dry bread crumbs, 1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts, 1 tsp. salt and 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix bread crumbs, walnuts and salt.
Beat eggs and stir in water.
Coat chicken with flour; dip in egg mixture and then in bread crumb mix.
Heat margarine and oil in 10-inch skillet over medium heat until hot.
Cook chicken until golden brown (2 to 3 minutes), then place chicken in 13 x 9 x 1-inch baking dish (ungreased).
Pour broth into dish, then sprinkle chicken with cheese.
Mix the remaining ingredients together and spoon onto each chicken breast.
Cook uncovered at 375Β° for approximately 30 minutes or until chicken is done.
