Cook first 4 vegetables in just enough water to cover until tender.
Add peas.
Make white sauce with butter, flour and milk. Add Cheddar cheese.
Stir until melted.
Add cottage cheese. Combine with vegetables.
Pour into 2-quart buttered baking dish. Cover with buttered bread crumbs.
Bake in 350Β° oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until brown and bubbly.
