Charlotte Peter'S Marinari Spaghetti Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 lb. dried mushrooms, water, 1 large onion, sliced, 1 green pepper, diced and 1/2 c. salad oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Soak mushrooms in just enough water to cover.
Saute onion and pepper in oil until soft.
Stir in rest of ingredients including mushrooms and water.
Cook over low heat about 30 minutes.
Pour over cooked spaghetti; top with Parmesan cheese.
(Marinari means meatless.)
