Buttery Giant Popovers

Heat cups at 400° for 5 minutes before pouring batter into cups.)
Using a quart measuring cup, pour batter into cups. Bake at 400° for 25 minutes.
Reduce to 375° for another 25 minutes.
To assure dry and puffed popovers, turn off oven and let stand in oven 5 to 10 minutes.
