Buttermilk Biscuits
Buttermilk Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, dash of salt and 1 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix flour, powder, soda, salt and sugar in a large bowl.
Cut in margarine with a pastry blender until mixture forms small crumbs.
Add buttermilk.
Mix just enough to make a soft dough. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead a few times.
(Don't knead too much or biscuits will be dry and hard!) Roll the dough out to a 6 x 8-inch shape and place it on an ungreased cookie sheet. With a sharp knife, cut the dough into 12 equal pieces but do not separate.
Bake in a 400Β° oven for 15 minutes.
Serve hot.
