Brussels Sprouts in Sauce

Wash sprouts thoroughly and remove discolored leaves.
Cut off stem ends and slash bottom of each with a shallow X.
Place sprouts in a small amount of boiling water.
Cover and simmer 8 minutes over low heat or until sprouts are tender.
Drain and set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan; cook 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring until thickened.
Pour sauce mixture over sprouts.
Toss well.
Serves 4.
