Brunswick Stew
Brunswick Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 to 6 lb. hen, 2 lb. cubed lean pork, 6 medium onions, 6 medium potatoes and 3 large cans tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Boil hen until very tender.
Skin and bone.
Skim most of grease off liquid, then cook pork and onion in it.
Meanwhile, cook cut up potatoes and tomatoes together, being careful not to let potatoes scorch.
When all done, combine all ingredients together in large pot.
Season with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
Allow to simmer gently for several hours until the consistency of thick soup.
Stir occasionally to prevent scorching.
Freezes well.
