Beef Stroganoff(Club Member: Laine Shoemake) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. sirloin or round steak, 1 1/2 c. beef bouillon, 1 large onion, sliced thin, 1 c. sour cream and 1 tbsp. prepared mustard, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cut steak in thin strips; sprinkle meat tenderizer and let set for 10 minutes.
Melt oleo in frying pan; cook steak strips until no longer pink.
Remove from pan, leaving drippings.
Put sliced onions in drippings; cook over low heat until soft.
Spoon over steak.
Mix flour and small amount flour; pour in pan with bouillon and mustard.
Stir until thickens.
Stir in sour cream.
Do not boil after adding sour cream.
Spoon over steak and onions.
Serve over hot noodles.
