Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 to 2 lb. lean round steak, 1/2 c. flour, clove garlic, salt and pepper and chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cut meat into
1/2-inch strips pounding in flour, salt and pepper to meat rubbed with garlic.
Brown meat in heavy pan
(like pressure cooker) butter until quite brown. Remove meat onion.
Mushrooms and liquid and extra water loosen the browned drippings; stir into a brown gravy.
Add chicken soup (1 to 2 cans, depending on how much meat you have).
Stir until a nice creamy consistency, adding more water if necessary.
Add meat and cook on low for at least 20 minutes.
Add sour cream a few minutes before serving.
Not boil.
Serve over noodles or rice.
