Beef Stroganoff

Beef Stroganoff is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 to 2 lb. stew meat, cut into bite size pieces, 1/4 c. flour, 3 tbsp. oil, salt and pepper to taste and 1 jar sliced mushrooms, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a skillet, add oil.

Put flour, salt and pepper in a baggie.

Add meat a little at a time.

Shake to coat.

Add to hot oil and brown.

Scrape all into crock-pot.

Add enough beef broth to cover.

Heat on high for 1 hour.

Turn to low; let cook 6 to 8 hours (until meat is tender).

Fifteen minutes before serving, add mushrooms.

Cook either rice or noodles.

Just before serving, add sour cream.
