Beef Mandarin
Beef Mandarin is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. london broil, cut into thin strips, 1 green pepper, seeded and cut into strips, 2 scallions, sliced, 1 tsp. finely chopped garlic and 1 tbsp. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Saute beef, green pepper, scallions and garlic in oil.
Add water, soy and pepper sauces, liquid from mandarin oranges and salt and bring to a full boil.
Stir in rice, then oranges.
Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
Makes 4 servings, each less than 350 calories.
