Austrian Almond Squares
Austrian Almond Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft butter, 1 egg, separated, 1 tsp. nutmeg, 1 c. sugar and 2 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add egg yolk and beat well.
Sift together flour and nutmeg. Gradually add to creamed mixture, stirring well.
