Auntie's Bread Puddin'
A homestyle Southern bread pudding rich with eggs, milk, raisins, and cinnamon, baked until the top sets golden. Best served warm with a glug of vanilla or whiskey sauce.
Preheat oven to 375Β°. In a medium size mixing bowl, beat with electric beater the milk, eggs and sugar until well mixed.
Add biscuits that have been crumbled or shaved. (I use leftover biscuits which have been frozen; they are easily shaven while frozen.) Mix well and let stand for 1 hour.
Add melted butter and vanilla and beat for 2 minutes.
Pour into baking dish and bake for about 40 minutes or until brown on top.
