Aunt Fanny's Baked Squash
Aunt Fanny'S Baked Squash is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. yellow squash, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 2 eggs, 1 stick butter or margarine and 1 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Wash and cut up squash.
Boil until tender.
Drain thoroughly, then mash.
Add all ingredients, except 1/2 of the butter to squash.
Melt remaining butter.
Pour mixture into baking dish, then spread melted butter over top and sprinkle with crumbs.
Bake in a 375Β° oven for approximately 1 hour or until brown on top.
