Steam asparagus for 5 to 7 minutes or until asparagus is crisp tender.
Remove and cool slightly.
Meanwhile, for dressing, in a screw top jar, combine olive oil, lemon juice, thyme, mustard, garlic and salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and shake until combined.
Arrange asparagus on a platter.
Drizzle with dressing.
