πŸ‘οΈ 2 views

Whole mushroom caps sauteed in clarified butter and finished with a splash of amaretto and lemon. Nutty, toasty, and a sophisticated little appetizer.

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ Instructions

In a saute pan, heat the clarified butter.

Cut the stems and wash the mushrooms; pat them dry.

Saute the mushrooms in the butter with the lemon juice added.

Just as the mushrooms are done, add the Amaretto and let simmer for about 30 seconds.

The butter and Amaretto will make a glaze.

Put the mushrooms in a small serving dish (a Welsh Rarebit dish works great); pour the glaze over them.

Garnish with a sprig of fresh parsley at each end of dish.

Serves 2.
