Yellow Squash Casserole

Wash unpeeled squash; slice in 1/4-inch slices.
Cook in salted water until barely tender.
Drain well.
Put squash in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Add butter, salt, pepper and onion.
Combine milk, eggs and cheese.
Mix well.
Pour over squash mixture and stir until blended.
Top with crumbs and drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 425Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
