Wild Rice With Mushrooms(Serves 8 To 10) is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. wild rice, 1 c. grated american cheese, 1 c. chopped mushrooms, 1 c. ripe olives and 1/2 c. chopped onions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In a large saucepan, stir together the undrained black-eyed peas, water, sliced onion, sliced celery, diced bacon, chicken bouillon granules, garlic salt, pepper and bottled hot pepper sauce.
Bring mixture to boiling.
Stir in the uncooked rice. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes or until the rice is done.
