Wholesome Joes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 garlic clove, minced, 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce and 1/2 c. uncooked lentils, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, brown beef with onion and garlic; drain well.
Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 40 to 45 minutes, or until lentils are tender.
Spoon 1/2 cup mixture into each bun.
