Vegetable Beef Soup
Vegetable Beef Soup is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 lb. shin beef with bone, 3 qt. water, 2 tbsp. salt, 2 tsp. worcestershire sauce and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Combine beef, water, salt, Worcestershire sauce and pepper in large kettle.
Cover and simmer until meat is tender, 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Remove meat from soup; cut from bone in small pieces and return meat to soup.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer until vegetables are tender, about 45 to 60 minutes.
Makes about 6 quarts.
