Turnip Greens
Turnip Greens is an easy dinner. Made with 3 to 4 bunches turnip greens, tony cachares cajun spices and pork seasoning (6 slices bacon or 3 ham hocks), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Pinch greens off stems; do not cook vein looking parts, they're bitter.
Place in a Dutch oven with 6 bacon slices or 3 ham hocks and Cajun spice to taste.
I use approximately 1/8 cup. Greens will be above lid level but will cook down to less than 1/2 pot full, don't worry.
Boil, covered, for 1 hour.
