Lightly brown the mushroom and onion in 2 tablespoons butter. Place in an oiled casserole dish.

Add the turkey, rice, almonds, salt and pepper.

Stir in the cream and chicken broth.

Cover and bake in a preheated 350° oven for 1 1/4 hours.

Remove cover, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and dot with the remaining butter. Increase the oven temperature to 450° and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
