Trinity Burgundy Baked Trout
Trinity Burgundy Baked Trout is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 4 (1 1/2 to 2 lb.) trout, dressed, 1/2 lb. butter, 1 to 2 c. dry red wine, 2 large green peppers, cut crosswise and 3 large sliced onions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Wrap each trout in aluminum foil individually; place in baking pan.
Dot with butter.
Pour the wine over them.
Cover with green peppers, onions and tomato slices.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper or garlic salt and paprika. Seal the aluminum foil.
Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until flesh flakes easily away from the bones when touched with a fork. Serves 1 trout per person.
