Toffee
Toffee is an easy dinner. Made with 4 oz. saltine crackers, 1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks), 1 c. packed light brown sugar and 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Line a large cookie sheet with foil.
Spray foil with baking spray.
Lay crackers in a single layer to cover foil, crackers touching.
In a saucepan, bring butter and brown sugar to a boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour mixture evenly over crackers, spreading to cover them all.
Bake at 400Β° for 5 to 7 minutes, being careful not to let sugar mixture burn.
Remove from oven and let stand about 3 minutes.
Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over candy and, as they melt, spread over entire area with a spatula.
Refrigerate 30 to 60 minutes.
Break into pieces to serve.
Yield: about 1 1/2 pounds candy.
