Three-in-One Refrigerator Rolls
Three-In-One Refrigerator Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. dry yeast, 1 1/2 c. warm water, 1 c. mashed potatoes (warm), prepared with milk and butter, 2/3 c. sugar and 2/3 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
Stir in potatoes, sugar, shortening, salt, eggs and 5 cups flour.
Beat until smooth.
Stir in enough remaining flour to form a firm dough.
Turn onto a floured surface.
Knead until smooth and elastic, about 7 minutes.
Place in a large greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.
Punch dough down.
Turn onto a lightly floured surface.
Divide dough into 3 portions.
Make into cloverleaf or pan rolls.
Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled.
Bake at 400Β° for 16 minutes.
Brush with melted butter.
