Talagrini Primavera
Talagrini Primavera is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. asparagus, 1/4 c. slivered ham or prosciutto, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 1 thinly sliced carrot and 1 diced zucchini, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In a large pan, boil water and cook noodles.
Diagonally cut asparagus into 1 inch lengths.
In a wide frying pan over medium heat melt butter.
Add the ham, asparagus, carrot and zucchini. Cook the mixture, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes without a lid.
After that cover the pan and cook for 1 minute longer.
Now add the green onions, peas, basil, salt, nutmeg, pepper and half and half to the mixture.
Increase the heat to high and cook until the liquid begins to boil.
Mix with noodles and top with parmesan cheese.
Makes 3 to 5 servings.
