Sweet Roll Dough
Sweet Roll Dough is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. warm water (110~-115~), 2 pkg dry yeast, 1 1/2 c. luke warm milk, 1/2 c. sugar and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In mixing bowl dissolve yeast in water. Stir in milk, sugar and salt.
Add eggs, shortening and half the flour. Stir with spoon. Add the rest of flour. Turn unto floured board. Knead until smooth, about 5 minutes.
Round-up in greased bowl. Cover with damp cloth. Let rise until double, about 1 1/2 hours in warm place. Punch down. Shape into rolls or coffee cake. Let rise until double, about 30 minutes.
