Sweet Potato Casserole
Sweet Potato Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 2 large cans sweet potatoes or fresh ones, cooked, 2 cans cranberry sauce (whole), 2 c. bread crumbs (broken slices, really not fine crumbs), 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine and 1/2 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Butter a shallow baking dish 12 x 8-inch.
Slice potatoes in thick slices, arrange one layer, then top with cranberry sauce, brown sugar, butter and crumbs; repeat until dish is filled.
Be sure sweet potatoes and crumbs make the top layer and add a little more butter on top.
Bake in moderate oven (350Β°) for about half an hour--no more.
Serves 8 generously.
This is delicious with ham, pork, turkey or chicken.
