Sweet Potato Biscuits
Sweet Potato Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 pkg. active dry yeast, 3/4 c. warm water, 7 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp. baking powder and 1 tbsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cook sweet potatoes and mash.
Mix yeast and warm water.
Stand for 5 minutes. Mix flour, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Add yeast mixture and stir.
On ungreased pan, turn dough out and knead for 5 minutes.
Place dough on greased sheet.
Let stand for 8 hours or overnight.
Roll dough 1/2 inch.
Cut dough with 2-inch biscuit cutter.
Place dough on ungreased sheet and allow to rise for 25 minutes.
Bake at 400Β° for 10 minutes.
Yields about 7 dozen.
