Spicy Pumpkin Loaf
Spicy Pumpkin Loaf is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1/2 c. toasted wheat germ, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 2 tsp. ground cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
Put all ingredients in a large bowl; mix with electric mixer or by hand. After thorough mixing, spread batter in prepared pan.
Bake for 60 to 65 minutes, or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Remove pan from oven; place on wire rack to cool for 10 minutes.
Remove loaf from pan; cool completely on wire rack. Tightly wrapped in aluminum foil, loaf keeps well in refrigerator or freezer.
Makes 1 loaf.
