Special Meat Loaf
Special Meat Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, 1/2 lb. italian sausage, 1 egg, 2 slices bread, soaked in a little milk and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Boil sausage about 10 minutes to rid it of excess fat. Mix sausage, hamburger, egg, bread, salt and pepper.
Sprinkle a piece of waxed paper with bread crumbs.
Spread meat mixture in thin layer over crumbs.
Over this, cover with Mozzarella cheese.
Roll. Place seam side down in baking large enough to accommodate.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 to 60 minutes.
Let rest for about 20 minutes before slicing.

Serves approximately 8. May be frozen if you have leftovers, I never have had any!
