Sourdough Bread Recipe
Sourdough Bread Recipe is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. oil, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. starter and 1 1/2 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a large bowl, make a stiff batter of ingredients.
Use plastic instead of metal bowls.
Grease another bowl.
Put dough in and turn over to put oiled side up.
Cover lightly with Saran Wrap to set overnight.
(Do not put in refrigerator.)
This dough will raise up a lot so use a very large bowl.
The next morning, punch down and knead a little.
Divide into 2 parts.
Knead each part on a floured board a few times, 8 to 10 times.
