Sour Cream Pound Cake

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each addition.
Add the flavorings. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the flour and sift.
Mix in carefully the butter, eggs and sugar mixture.
Add the sour cream, reserving 2 tablespoons of the sour cream and mix with the baking soda; blend into the batter and mix thoroughly.
Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan; pour in batter and bake at 325Β° for 75 minutes, longer if your oven is slow.
