Sour Cream Chicken Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 lb. chicken pieces, flour (for dredging), salt and pepper to taste, 1/4 c. margarine and 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Dredge chicken pieces in flour.
In skillet, heat margarine and brown chicken on all sides.
Transfer pieces to casserole.
Add mushrooms and mixture of sour crem and water.
Sprinkle with thyme and chives (or onions).
Cover well and bake until tender, about 1 hour.
Serves well with fluffy rice. Serves 4.
