Soft Yeast Pretzels
Soft Yeast Pretzels is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. active dry yeast, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 1/2 c. bite size shredded wheat cereal, crushed to 1 c., 1 tsp. salt and 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Preheat oven to 450°.
Grease baking sheet.
In a large bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in water.
Add crushed cereal to yeast mixture; add salt and enough flour to make soft dough.
Turn out on slightly floured surface.
Knead 5 minutes.
Divide dough into 12 pieces.
Roll into 20-inch lengths and shape into pretzels.
Brush with egg white and sprinkle with coarse salt.
Bake 16 to 20 minutes.
To reheat, bake at 300° for 5 minutes.
