Skillet Festive Chicken
Skillet Festive Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 to 3 lb. frying chicken pieces, 1 c. all-purpose flour, 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt, 1/4 tsp. chili powder and 2 tbsp. oil (vegetable), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Rinse chicken well.
In bag, combine flour, salt and chili powder.
Shake chicken, a few pieces at a time, in flour mixture to coat.
In large skillet, brown chicken in oil.
Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine remaining ingredients except hot cooked rice. Mix well.
Pour tomato mixture over chicken.
Simmer covered 40 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center.
Serve over hot cooked rice.
